		<description>Thanks for the great overview of the new Ubuntu. I'm torn in my opinion on Dapper. On the one hand it is very slick, but on the other, I'm just coming up against too many bugs. I've particularly been having the problems with gnome-print that you mention. In frustration, I ended up reinstalling Breezy and deciding to wait until Etch before I upgrade again. I agree with the comment &lt;a href="http://distrowatch.com/weekly.php?issue=20060605#firstlook" rel="nofollow"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt; that despite the delay, it 'shipped too early'.
On the subject of finding computers coming pre-installed with Linux: in the US it's not quite as difficult as you make out, I don't think. HP sells computers with Mandriva preinstalled and you can find systems with Linspire preinstalled at Walmart, Kmart and Sears for example.</description>
